..yay.for.the.weekend..

Yay for Friday's! I'm alive...sorry for being MIA for so long.

..I've been really focused on me and my new blog about my new journey..

I'm doing FANTASTIC!!!!

..It has been years since I have been able to say this!..

My attitude about things has changed so much and I know this has been a huge reason of why I feel so great.

..I've been through a lot in my life and have always carried around the baggage on my shoulders.

I never could really allow myself to feel 100% HAPPY!

..With everything that I have been given to deal with, it's amazing how peaceful you can feel when you give it all up to God.

Living with Endometriosis and Infertility is NOT easy. It's a very lonely journey. It's gut wrenching.

..But God knows best, and as hard as it is to except, there is a reason I am going through this pain and I'm excited to see what he has in store for me and my husband..

Let's get back to the weekend.
..I have a busy one but an exciting one..
My parents are in town from CA and I'll be spending the weekend with them at their Townhouse here in Strausburg, VA.
..We have lots of fun plans like celebrating Mother's Day with my Mom and just relaxing enjoying family time..
I always love spending time with my parents. I always have.
..They are the best!..
I'm getting off early from work today to avoid the crazy DC traffic and I'm already counting down the hours till I see them.

Summer is almost here and I can't wait.
--Some really exciting things will be happening--
July 9 - July 18th we will be in CA visiting my family & friends!
{Can't wait}
When we come home from CA we will be starting our next IVF cycle to try for a baby again.
{Very exciting and nerve wracking - we will know in August if it worked or not....counting down the days}
My parents will be here the whole month of August. Yay!
{Hoping to get the good news we have been waiting for so we can share it with them in person while they are here}

Hello my lovely blog friends!
I hope everyone had a great weekend.  After a very tiring first week back to work, I was able to sleep in and just re-coop. 

I have created a NEW BLOG!
I have decided to share a personal journey of mine to help myself and to encourage other woman who are going throught similar situations.  Go here to vist and follow along with me on this new journey of mine!

I know how encouraging and helpful other woman's blog's I read have been and I hope to be able to do the same!

..back to the grind..

Today is my first day back to work

after being off for 6.5 weeks.

It was not easy getting my mind set

for work again.

Little/crappy sleep I got last night.

I had no idea what I was walking into since

talking to HR about my LOVELY Boss!

{insert sarcasim here}

I walked into his office to say hi

and asked if he needed to speak with me

about anything and this is what he said,

"No, but read your memorandum of your job title and

remember what your duties are"!

That's all you have to say?

No, how are you feeling, glad to have you back.

NOTHING!!!!!

Even though coming back to work is a drag,

at least I have a job and health insurance.

Hoping things continue to run smoothly

and that my Boss doesn't cause anymore

problems for me.

..ten on tuesday..

..Amen haha..

My ten on tuesday:

1. Grandpa is home from the hospital and doing better.  God definitely answered our prayers!

2.  My husbands house that he owns with his Mother has SOLD!  This is such good news for us.  We will no longer be paying for a mortgage and rent.  We can now move on with our lives together and look for "our" home together!  Again, God has answered a long awaited prayer!  I'm so happy! =)

3.  Lots on my mind these days.  Looking forward to this summer...a lot of exciting things happening for my husband and I!  Details to come.

4.  This is suppose to be my last week off early as long as my Dr appt goes well on Friday.  If all goes well, I will be returning to work on 4/26 after being off for 6.5 weeks.  So not looking forward to going back.

5.  Celebrated my one year anniversary on Sunday with the most amazing man in the world! It was a special day and I look forward to many more anniversaries.

6.  I am so excited that Army Wives is on again on Sundays.  It's one of the shows that my hubby and I watch together and I love looking forward to watching it every Sunday.  The red headed lady married to the general drives me cRaZy!  She needs to GO!

7.  I'm feeling better from my surgery on 3/10.  A lot has happened and some tough news to deal with about where my body is headed.  But, thanks to a wonderful Dr, wonderful health insurance, and a wonderful new fertility clinic, our DREAMS will come true!  I've learned to not jump into things without the advice and recommendations from my Dr!  

8.  House shopping...the hubby and I have been house shopping and it's been fun trying to decide what we both want.  It's exciting and I can't wait to find our first home together as a married couple!

9.  Spring = Crazy ALLERGIES!  OMG...when your prescription allergy meds aren't doing the trick it = misery.  Calling Allergist Dr tomorrow to get checked out before I sneeze to death.

A year ago today I married the LOVE of my life.

It has been a great year.

It has been a memorable year.

It has been a year that I will never forget.

I am blessed beyond belief and have

the most amazing HUSBAND 

in the world!

The one question we have been asked the most our first year married was:

Is it hard adjusting to married life?

"Yes, one day your a Ms. and the next day your a Mrs.  You go from being single for 30 years to a Wife.  No more making decisions alone.  Your a team and you make  decisions together for the present and the future.  But it's the best change in the world!

..the simple things..

..I have so much to stay right now but don't even know where to begin.  
If you know me you know that I don't like feeling out of control.
..I feel out of control right now with some certain things and it sucks.
I'm trying to focus on the positives and remember that God is in control and he will take care of everything.


So with that said, I wanted to share a few things with you that I have found recently that I just LOVE!


1. Over the knee crochet leg warmers found here!  They are just adorable.  Here is a sneak peak at one of my favorite pairs:

2.  White pillowcase dress with lace found over at theuptownbaby on etsy.  Super cute for a little girl toddler age for a beach style wedding or just because.  If I have a little girl, I sure hope she's a girly girl! =)

3.  Long wallet or small clutch found here.  These are absolutely adorable.  Simple and fun...I think I need one for my spring/summer attire.

4.  New obsession: watching "how-to" video's on YouTube!  OMG, I can't stop.  I've learned new makeup techniques, met other woman who are going through the same woman issues that I'm going through and so on.  The video's of the woman are like video diaries...they are really interesting.  I've met some really neat people and it's nice to know I'm not alone!  Trying to avoid clicking YouTube on my browser haha!

ten on tuesday...

1. Enjoying another 2 weeks off work ~ Dr's orders! Lot's of decisions to make in the next couple of months!

2. God has answered a long awaited prayer and my husband and I finally feel like we will be able to truly start our lives together! I will have more to update with hopefully by next weeks ten on tuesday!

3. I am strangely infatuated with Savannah Georgia! I have never been there before, but I do have family near by in Cummings, GA. I just love all the beauty of the city and everything it has to offer. I have come across some really amazing pictures and when I look at them, I get this overwhelming feeling of peace and happiness! Must plan a visit soon!

4. Spring is finally here. Yay!!! Makes for a much better mood and more to do then being cooped up in the house trying to stay warm. Our pool opens Memorial Day weekend and I'm looking forward to some poolside time!

5. This Sunday is my one year anniversary. I can't believe it. Where has the time gone. Last year at this time I was finalizing last minute details and anxiously awaiting family flying in from CA! Such happy memories!

6. I love not working. I could really get used to being a stay-at-home-wife and stay-at-home-mom! I don't feel as stressed, my neck doesn't hurt, I don't have to deal with stupid people, and I don't have to wake up early which is the best thing in the world. I hate the morning and I feel so much better now that I am able to get more sleep. I finally feel rested for the first time in a very long time.

7. Woke up the first time today at 11:15, didn't feel like getting out of my cozy bed, so I fell back to sleep until 2:45! It felt so good to have nothing to get up for and just sleep. Even though the sun isn't out, I'm kinda likin this lazy day!=)

8. Dinner tonight ~ $.49 wings and cheap beer for the hubby...thinking this sounds like a cheap and great plan! Hoping the hubby agrees.

9. For months now I've been trying to start this new project ~ a mini album using scrapbook materials. Well, I'm thinking it's time I get this started while I still have time off from work. I hope to be able to share more of this with you once I start this project and my steps along the way in completing the mini album. They are really cute!

10. UPDATE ON MY GRANDPA:

God has answered our prayers. He is doing much better. Over the weekend they moved him out of ICU and into a regular patient room. He is alert and knows whats going on which is a huge change from last week and he was able to go home yesterday. He is in a lot of pain from injuring his back so he will continue taking pain meds under the care of a home nurse. He is very frail and week and he needs to be very careful in the activities that he chooses to do. He is a very stubborn man and refuses to listen to anyone and this is why he ends up the way he does. No more bending over planting flowers, chopping wood, pulling your trailer all over CA and so on. He's 90 and is trying to act like he's 40. So for now, he is alive and here with us for hopefully many more years. His arteries in his neck are 90% and 100% clogged so it's only a matter of time before his time is up. We know this is reality but we just aren't ready to say goodbye just yet. I'm just so thankful he is still here with us!
