{Year 2010}

****Happy 2010****

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile since I have posted anything so I figured I better get to it soon so here I am. First off I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and happy New Year!!!

This year we spent Christmas in the DC area. We usually go to NY to visit my husbands Dad/Stepmom and family, but this everyone decided to come to VA. My parents are in CA so we spent the holidays with his family. Christmas Eve we went to my mother-n-laws and his Dad made a huge dinner, called "the seven fishes". It consists of 7 different fishes and lots of yummy side dishes. It wasa FEAST!!!! We had a great time opening presents (as usual, always too many) and it was just nice to have some time with his immediate family before the big gathering on Christmas Day.

Christmas Day we had breakfast with his family and then headed to his Aunt and Uncles for dinner. All the cousins were in town, sisters, brothers, you name it, they were all there. This is a rarity for them. They usually all go there seperate ways around the holidays so it was nice to see everyone together.

My parents flew in from CA on December 29 and I was able to spend the week with them. We had a great time and it was nice to see them. We had our big Ulrich family get together the day after New Year's and it was a blast. Lots of yummy food involved and the fabulous "White Elephant" gift exchange....GOOD TIMES! I ended up with a pumpkin spice candle (my favorite) and I couldn't have been happier.

We had a wonderul holiday and we were so thankful to spend it with family. We are excited for 2010! Anthony and I will be celebrating our One Year Anniversary April 18th (boy does time fly by). Our first year together has had it's up's and down's - welcome to married life. We have learned so much about each other and we couldn't imagine our lives any different. I love him dearly and I thank God for him everyday...he's truly a blessing! In March our niece will be born and we are super excited to meet her. We hope to have a family soon and we are excited about this next step in our lives!

We have made some wonderful friends who we are so thankful for, Meighan and Jeremy! God truly answers prayers and he brought us two people who are more than we could have ever hoped for. We are excited about what the future has in store for us as couple friends. We LOVE You guys!!!!!!!!

I have lots more to share, but I'll leave that for another post. I hope that everyone has a wonderful 2010 and sending many blessings your way!

God Bless,
Lauren
